The Force of Life that Cannot Be Stopped

That is what two people whom I admire greatly call their Easter - a celebration of the force of life that cannot be stopped. And as another admired writer, Tom Ehrich, says, "God's answer to chaos... isn't control or orderliness, but life, hope, future, love, surprise, grace."

Greg is 21!

Yesterday was a great day! We got to celebrate our nephew Greg's 21st birthday, as well as get together to mark one year since Greg got sick with meningitis and almost died. Richard's three aunts were there, even Carmen who hasn't been to a family get-together in quite a while. Also there were Jesus' best friend from junior high and his wife. She was a lot of laughs; I really enjoyed talking to her. It's good to be alive.
